Hello FTPLI Team Captain!

Welcome to a new season for Florida Team Pickleball League, Inc! I want to thank you for joining our league and stepping up to be a team Captain. The effort you invest is what makes FTPLI possible, and we will never forget that! We continue to grow each season thanks to so many volunteers and people like you who step up to be a captain. As you are building your rosters, please be aware that FTPLI maintains a list of players, Players Seeking a Team, of all skill levels seeking to be on a team. Please contact your league coordinator for further information. Here is more information for you:

Team Registration is for all skill and age groups. Players will still be able to register for teams through the midpoint of the season. See dates on the website. Our goal is to have 3 teams in each group. In the event we do not, we will combine groups as best as we can. You have registered your team’s name. A team name will only be used once within a region, and if your chosen name has been taken, we will ask you for a new name. We will set up your team in your personal name until you advise us of a new team name. Please give us 48 hours, then the captain will be contacted with a code to give their players to register for their team (it may take more than 48 hours when registering the first week). Direct your team members to the Player Registration Guide and provide them with your team code, so that all players on the team can register and pay. If you have other questions, then reach out to your League Coordinator for help.

Pickleball Scores Site is where all teams’ matches will be tracked. Once schedules are finished, you can use the Captain's Guide to help you navigate team organization, inputting scores, and more.

Confirm Team Information on pickelballscores.com (under regions). Make sure your team is registered and has all the correct information for division, skill, age, and that everything is spelled correctly. When you click on your team, you will see your home court venue at the top, make sure the venue is correct and double check the address and contact number.

Player Fees are for each team you play on and are all set up on PayPal when you register. All teams will be responsible for any court fees at venues that charge a fee.

After you have registered your team’s name, please check within 48 hours to see that your team is live and ready for player registration. Then have all players, including yourself, use the code provided via email from PM@FTPLI.org.. We recommend about 1o-12 players on a team. Reach out to the League Coordinator for help rounding out your roster with the Players Seeking a Team list.
